Trips & Visits

Year 10/11 - Trip to Barcelona - February 2026

During the half term week, 34 students in year 10 and 11 and 3 members of staff (thank you Mrs Perkins and Mr Thickbroom!) went on a school trip for four days to Barcelona (Spain) where they had the opportunity of visiting the main landmarks like Las Ramblas, Sagrada Familia, Nou Camp or Park Guell.

They completed quizzes and had different competitions, and had the opportunity to practice their language skills and even some of them travelled for the first time on a plane or underground.

And now that the trip is over, I feel proud of your willingness to have fun, of your positive attitude and of your excellent behaviour. I would have loved to spend a few more days with you in Spain, as it is a delight to work at Trinity and seeing you in classrooms and corridors every day.

All the endless hours of preparation were worthy because the Spanish trip was a success, and it was due to all of you.

THANK YOU, 34!.

Mr.Canales

Before February 2026 half-term, the RE Department took Year 7 on a trip to Harvington Hall.

We had a fantastic day learning about religious persecution and the lengths people were willing to go to in order to continue practising their faith and protect others.

Students enjoyed an exciting tour of the seven priest hides within the hall and learned about the rich history of the building. The day concluded with a time of collective worship, allowing pupils to reflect on what they had experienced.

It was a wonderful opportunity for students to explore their faith, deepen their understanding of history, and build new friendships. Thank you to everyone who supported the trip.

Tate Modern Trip - 9th January 2026

On Friday 9th January we had our annual Tate Modern London visit for GCSE art and photography students. It was a fantastic day out and everybody really enjoyed themselves and gained a lot in terms of their cultural capital. Of course we all enjoyed a little trip over the Millennium Bridge to the nearby McDonalds at lunch time. Our students were, as always, a real credit to the school and to our parents and guardians, well done to all.

In Their Footsteps Exhibition - Houses of Parliament Trip 2026

It was a privilege to be invited to attend the opening of the “In Their Footsteps” Exhibition at the Houses of Parliament on Thursday 15th January 2026. We were delighted to take five of our History Research Group students, who helped host the event and explain the project to MPs and other distinguished guests.

Our students’ knowledge, understanding, and passion for the project made a strong impression on everyone they spoke to, and they received extremely positive feedback throughout the evening.

JLR Apprenticeship Taster Day - 28.01.2026

What a fantastic day we had at Trident College, working with the JLR team! Our Year 11 students took part in a range of hands-on engineering activities, followed by an informative talk about the different apprenticeship opportunities available to them. They also had the chance to practise interview skills and hear first-hand from current apprentices about their experiences.

Staff commented on how well behaved our students were and noted that the students from Trinity were the most engaged in the activities throughout the day — a real credit to them.

Miss Crossman was also reminded just how awful she is at maths and will be sticking to being a DSL rather than becoming an engineer!

Emmaus Visit to Warwick Justice Centre - 4th February 2026

Some of our EMMAUS students had the privilege of meeting a judge and his team at the Warwickshire Justice Centre today. During their visit, students learned about the role of a judge and the responsibilities of the different members of the court team.

They also heard about the team’s varied career paths and the journeys each person took to reach their current roles. It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to explore a diverse range of careers and gain valuable insight into the world of justice.
